MUSICAL BIOGRAPHY
1999 - Present: Bandleader, guitarist and chief songwriter for Mambo Sons.
* In April 2001, signed an endorsement deal with Brian Moore Custom Guitars, NY based makers of custom instruments
* * Wrote, recorded and produced self titled debut cd "Mambo Sons" with Rick Derringer in 2000. The disc sold out its initial pressing and is being distributed internationally on The Orchard label (www.theorchard.com). "Mambo Sons" also includes former Bob Dylan bassist Kenny Aaronson, John Entwhistle keyboardist Alan St. Jon, and former Van Morrison sax player Collin Tilton. The cd was critically acclaimed and samples and reviews are available on the website.
* * Performed gigs to support cd, including playing prior to Def Leppard at The Eastern States Exposition in September, 2000, The Taste of Hartford in 1999 and various fundraisers throughout the state.
* * One track off the Mambo Sons' cd "Habits of Mine" was recently included on the Oasis "Roots Rock" sampler cd, which was distributed to radio stations internationally.
* * In process of writing songs for the followup album, to be released fall 2001. This album will include various guests including former Aerosmith guitarist Jimmy Crespo.
1993 - 1999: Guitarist and chief songwriter for The Delrays.
* Played over three hundred gigs over the Northeast in a 5 year period with The Delrays, a five piece R&B unit, including The Bushnell Auditorium, Toad's Place, and The Sheraton Ballroom, NYC.
* Was asked to write, record and produce "Red, White and Blues;" a fundraiser for Connecticut Governor John Rowland. "Red, White and Blues" sold 10,000 units from 1997-1998.
* Performed with Ronnie Earl, Jaimoe (Allman Bros.) and a host of national talent.
1993 - 1994: Bandleader, guitarist for WHUS Blues Bus show
* Arranged and performed blues classics with a variety of regional musicians including former members of Muddy Waters' band.
1982 - 1992: Guitarist and chief songwriter for The Dirty Bones
* Played colleges and clubs in North America over a 10 year period.
* * Released 3 recordings "Exhumed" (1983), "Last Remains" (1985) and the critically acclaimed cd "new wOrld disOrder" in 1991.
* Supported Max Weinberg on his 1986 solo tour promoting his book on influential drummers "The Big Beat"
1979 - Present: Various
* Produced and / or played guitar on hundreds of sessions, studio recordings and commercial and public jingles, including writing and performing the theme song for WCCC radio morning show in 1986.
